LGV Training Courses
There are various categories of LGV licences. It is important to determine which vehicles you plan to drive and therefore choose the most appropriate course for you. We offer a wide range of courses all aimed at assisting drivers in preparing for LGV licence tests.
- Car and Trailer Training (B+E)
This training is designed to help you prepare for the Category B+E licence test. This licence allows drivers to drive trailers of 750kgs or less. Whether you plan to take camping trips or need to tow luggage in a trailer, we’ll help you learn the skills to ensure that you can safely drive your car with a trailer or caravan in tow.
- 7.5 Tonne LGV training (C1 Licence)
Do you plan to drive larger vehicles of up to 7.5 tonnes? You’ll need an LGV category C1 licence. Our training course will help you learn the skills required to drive large vans and other larger vehicles safely. Whether you aspire to be a delivery truck driver or ambulance driver, we will help prepare you for your career.
- 7.5 Tonnes plus Trailer: Category C1+E
If you’ve already obtained an LGV Category C1 licence, you may encounter situations that require you to tow a trailer. You’ll need a Category C1+E licence for this. Our training course is designed to help you learn how to tow a trailer of 750kgs or more on a large vehicle.
- HGV/LGV Class 2: Category C
This training course will help you prepare for the LGV Category C licence test. With this licence, you can drive rigid vehicles of any weight up to 32 tonnes. This licence allows you to drive Lorries.
- HGV Class 1: Category C+E
If you want to be able to drive lorries with large trailers (articulated), then this is the course for you. The course prepares you for the Category C+E licence test. This licence will allow you to drive trucks and trailers with a maximum gross weight of 44 tonnes.
